“I work Nights only, and it's remote from home. The hospital has residents on as well so they are doing many of the prelim reads. Schedule is 1 week on, 2 weeks off. I own all of my time 2/3rds of the year so I can either do nothing, or most of the time I pick up per diam shifts at local hospitals or at my employer bringing in an additional $3000 per shift. Love that this schedule gives me the freedom to pursue other opportunities on my weeks off. This is as close as you can come to owning your own time while still having the security of a W2 job ”
