Before this, I built ReviewMyResidency.com to bring transparency to residency programs and help medical students navigate the match process. Both platforms are completely free—just like SalaryDr, I believe in making valuable information accessible to all healthcare professionals without barriers.

SalaryDr is completely self-funded and run by a physician advocate for pay transparency. No private equity. No venture capital. No outside investors. There is no board or growth-at-all-costs target telling us what data to publish or who we serve.
That matters in healthcare, where investor pressure often leads to higher volumes, worse experiences, and less transparency. Here, the incentives are flipped: the only stakeholders are the clinicians using the data.
To keep SalaryDr free, we work with a small set of Trusted Partners for things like disability insurance, tax planning, and practice tools. They never control our salary data, product roadmap, or editorial decisions.
