Full description
The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Allergy, Clinical Immunology, and Rheumatology is seeking academically driven Rheumatologists and investigators to join our growing team. This position supports our mission of delivering exceptional patient care while fostering excellence in teaching, research, and academic scholarship.
The Division is comprised of sections of Allergy/Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology, with 22 physicians and 2 Physician Assistants. The Division’s outstanding clinical support includes 4 clinical PharmDs, 1 on 1 RN support for each physician, and several LPNs and MAs.
Our Fellowships train 6 Rheumatology and 4 Allergy/Immunology fellows. The division has its own fully supported Clinical Trials Unit. Musculoskeletal ultrasound is actively utilized in the clinic and is incorporated in the fellows’ curriculum. Several subspecialty clinics provide disease-oriented care in collaboration with other disciplines. Two Infusion Therapy Units work closely with the Division.
Academic appointments will be determined based on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, with strong support for professional development and career advancement, and faculty appointment to the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Preferred candidate:
PhD, MD/PhD and/or physicians with expertise in clinical, basic or translational research.
