The University of Kansas Health System is expanding and seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join the dynamic team at our St. Francis Heart & Vascular Center in beautiful Topeka, Kansas. About the Position:
- Established practice of 3 Interventionalists
- Comprehensive cardiology group of 6 cardiologists, 6 APPs, and experienced support staff (RN, LPN, CNA, MA, secretarial support). Additionally, 2 cardiothoracic surgeons and 3 cardiothoracic APPs
- Clinical practice, no research or teaching required
- Procedure rooms and testing available in clinic: nuclear stress, echo, echo stress, exercising stress testing, vascular sonography, coumadin clinic, cardiac rehab, vein clinic, and a device dlinic
- Structural heart program including ASD/PFO, TAVR and watchman
- Referrals from primary care and multiple specialists, hospitalist, and outreach in our tertiary areas
- Schedule: M-F with Clinic, scheduled days in cath lab, weekends and holidays on an IP rotating schedule
- Daily patient load: clinic 2.5 patients per hour
- Night and weekend Call: 1 weekend a month, night’s variable 4-5 nights a month.

- ABIM Board Certified/Eligible Cardiologist
- Fellowship Training in Interventional Cardiology
