Northwell Health in conjunction with Plainview Hospital is seeking a full-time Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to join the faculty. The ideal candidate would possess excellent clinical and technical skills and take a collaborative approach to patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled vascular surgeon with 3-4 years of experience, with strong leadership qualities, to bring their vision and energy to the development of a growing vascular practice.
Responsibilities include in- and outpatient care of a wide array of vascular surgery patients and, as such, candidates should have an interest in providing the full spectrum of elective and emergency vascular surgical procedures. Opportunities for expansion of vascular surgical services are exceptional. Excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment and a passion for patient care are a must. The Division is looking for a board eligible/certified vascular surgeon.
Plainview Hospital is an acute care community hospital with 120 beds that treats patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, and gynecological conditions. It has a same-day surgery program and is also the site of one of the Don Monti Cancer Centers. Plainview also has a Family Medicine training program. The hospital was recently recognized by the Joint Commission for achieving excellence in performance on its accountability measures for heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, and surgical care.
