Position Overview
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a board-certified/ board-eligible interventional cardiology and structural heart physician to join an elite team of academic physicians at the assistant or associate professor rank. The successful candidate will focus on both routine and complex coronary artery disease, including inpatient and outpatient consultative and primary services in a world-class facility at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. Interests in clinical and extramurally funded research are desirable. The Ohio State University Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is setting new standards for advanced heart and vascular care through our internationally and nationally recognized experts of more than 60 cardiology and vascular medicine specialists. We offer heart and vascular patients some of the most exciting and innovative technologies, treatments, and clinical trials, many of which are only available at Ohio State. The majority of our faculty are principal investigators on a variety of research projects in both basic, translational, and clinical research settings.

Faculty Defined
Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) - Persons with titles of assistant professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical and professor-clinical. These faculty will have earned a doctor of medicine (MD), doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field. Clinical faculty members are not eligible for tenure and are appointed for terms of three to five years. They may be reappointed to successive terms. Their principal career focus is the delivery of exemplary clinical care, and may include teaching, and/or research.
Tenure-Track faculty (regardless of rank) - Persons with the titles of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor who are eligible for tenure or who have obtained tenure.
