Affiliated with Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT, Northwell Health is seeking a Primary Care Physician for our Newtown Primary Care & Specialty Practice office in Newtown, CT to join our busy practice in a leadership role with clinical responsibilities with 3 Physicians, 2 APRNs, and 1 LCSW. Newtown is a scenic “small town” located in Fairfield County in southwestern Connecticut, about sixty miles from New York City.

This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice. Job Requirements:

• MD or DO with CT State License, Federal DEA, and State Controlled Substance Registration
• Have successfully completed a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Peds Residency
• Previous experience as a Primary Care Physician preferred but new grads welcome to apply
• Must be Board Certified or be Board Eligible
• Off-hour coverage – Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only with nurse triage
