The North Florida/South Georgia / Tallahassee VA Healthcare Clinic is seeking an experienced and dynamic Primary Care Physician. The physician will typically work 8-hour shifts but will not work less than 80 hours during a two-week pay period. Eight-hour shifts are from 8 am through 4:30 pm on weekdays. The Physician might also work extended hours on weekdays. Physician reports directly to the Chief of Primary Care. A summary of the duties is mentioned below but not limited to: Performing duties to accomplish treatment of our patients Performing exams according to performance measure guidelines Documenting notes according to policy/procedure utilizing a Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) in a personal computer Screening patients to determine need for further care Ordering diagnostic studies, carrying out health promotion and disease prevention activities Initialing and expediting requests for consultations Scheduling special tests, consults and studies Routine & Preventive Women Healthcare Tele Health when required Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Note: Work schedules are determined and approved by the supervisor.
