Physician (Primary Care)

The North Florida/ South Georgia VA Healthcare System's Primary Care Service is seeking an experienced and dynamic Physician for our Lake City VA Medical Center. Ideal applicants are those who want to contribute to the achievement of quality care standards, as well as the growth and development of a VA academic hospital program. Utilize technology (i.e. Telehealth video conferencing) and the use of telephone visits when necessary. Perform the full range of duties to include but not limited to: Physical exams, ordering laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic tests. Practice in accordance with professional standards of care, core values and a commitment of excellence. Utilize electronic medical records in accordance with North Florida/South Georgia VHS policy and other regulatory bodies. Participate in staff meetings, educational activities, administrative and other duties assigned. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 0800-1630 U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
