Required qualifications include American Board of Pathology (ABP) certification/eligibility in Clinical Pathology. Accredited fellowship training in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine with ABP certification/eligibility in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine. A valid, unrestricted New York State Medical License. A Certificate of Qualification in Transfusion Services (details available at: https://www.wadsworth.org/regulatory/clep/certificate-requirements ). The ideal candidate for the Medical Director position will possess robust experience specifically in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine, complemented by demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong teamwork abilities. New graduates with exceptional leadership potential will be considered for the position of Assistant Medical Director.
