As we expand our neurological health services across the Northwell Health System, the Department of Neurology is seeking a BC/BE neuromuscular neurologist to join our multi-disciplinary team at Peconic Bay Medical Center (PBMC) in Riverhead, NY. Northwell Neurology offers flexible positions, which includes combination of inpatient and ambulatory responsibilities.
The Department of Neurology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years across all regions, with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services. The department brings together the vast resources of Northwell Health and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell to provide state-of-the-art care while contributing to advances in technology, education and research.
Founded in 1951 as Central Suffolk Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center is the largest hospital in Eastern Suffolk County, and the Eastern Hub of Northwell Health, the largest healthcare organization in New York State. As a non-for-profit 144-bed community hospital, we serve as the primary resource for advanced healthcare services for the 250,000+ residents of the Riverhead area, Eastern Central Suffolk County, and Long Island’s North Fork.
