This inpatient opportunity offers a chance to collaborate with a collegial group of neurohospitalists and stroke providers in a cutting-edge medical environment. Opportunity Details Location: Near Fruitland, WA Dates Needed: 11/25 through 12/01 12/23 through 12/31/2025 License Requirement: WA licensed providers only Position Overview Setting: 100% inpatient Shifts: 5am-5pm, within 20 minutes from the hospital Onsite Expectation: Typically around 8am, no on-call at night Stroke Activation: 1 every 24 hours New Consults: 2-3 per day Daily Census: 5-10, half in ICU Phone Calls: 6-8 per day during working hours Night Coverage: None Coverage Locations: nFSED, DH, DHED, VH, VHED (Excluding VH) Imaging Skills: Ability to read CT, MRI with perfusion studies Additional Skills: EEG ability helpful but not mandatory Response Time: Bedside response to activations within 10 minutes Program Support and Facilities The Neuroscience Institute's well-established neurohospitalist program receives robust support from the organization.
