- Position Type: 5-1.0 FTE
- Night Shift Schedule:
- Each hospital is staffed overnight with teams of 2-5 physicians and 1-2 APPs, with overlapping coverage from 1600-0200.
- Ann Arbor: 2100 - 0700
- Three physicians provide coverage at Ann Arbor from 0200-0700.
- Chelsea: 2100 - 0700
- Independent coverage required at Chelsea and Livingston from 0200-0700
- Livingston: 1900-0700
- Independent coverage required at Chelsea and Livingston from 0200-0700
- Day Shift Schedule: 0700-1900
- Typical 7 on 7 off

Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- State of Michigan License
- BLS and ACLS certified
- Hospitalist Medicine experience preferred
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical shift may include:
- Collaboration with other health care professionals in providing direct inpatient care
- Monitoring and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Respond to clinical changes and deteriorations
- Livingston: Overseeing Code Blues
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and ensure appropriate coding and billing compliance
- Complete up to 8 admissions in a shift
- Supervise APPs for admissions and cross coverage issues
