Practice Highlights:

• Patient Encounters: 17-20 per day (admissions & rounding)
• Average Census: 16 patients
• Hospital Beds: 131
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Rounding Schedule:
  • One rounding day physician (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) plus one Advanced Practice Clinician (APC)
• Night Coverage:
  • APC covers nights
  • Daytime hospitalist takes night telephone call
• ICU Coverage:
  • Intensivists cover ICU beds Monday to Friday
  • Hospitalist team covers nights and weekends
• Procedures:
  • Rapids & codes required
  • Vent management required
• EMR System: Cerner
