Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive inpatient care to a panel of adult patients, managing a caseload of 16-20 patients per day. Conduct thorough patient histories, perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide ongoing medical care throughout a patient's hospitalization. Collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in hospital operations and contribute to medical education initiatives, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Meditech electronic medical record system. Qualifications Active and unrestricted New Hampshire (NH) medical license. Board-certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) is mandatory. Experience in a hospital setting managing adult medical patients is preferred. Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and strong clinical foundation in hospital medicine. Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment. Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends. Schedule The typical schedule consists of 12-hour shifts with a 7-on/7-off block structure. You will rotate call and be expected to work 7 consecutive shifts, ideally for two weeks per month.
