Focus on Inpatient Care: This position focuses exclusively on inpatient care, allowing you to utilize your skills in managing admissions and coordinating treatment plans for a manageable patient load. Supportive Work Environment: You'll collaborate with a team of experienced nurses and specialists, including CRNAs, PICC teams, and interventional radiologists. Key Qualifications Licensed to practice medicine in Oklahoma (active license required) Board-certified in internal medicine (or eligible) Current certification in ACLS (BLS preferred) Experience using MediTech EMR system (preferred) Schedule and Patient Load Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off model with 12-hour day shifts only (night coverage provided by telemedicine service) Patient Load: 20-25 patient encounters per day (including admissions) 5-6 admissions per day Additional Information Admissions are required for this inpatient-focused role. Rounding assignments will be based on patient acuity. Procedures such as intubations, central line placements, and codes will be managed by dedicated teams or specialists with your support.
