Job Description: The Department of Neurology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health is seeking a Neuro-Oncologist to join its growing academic neuroscience program. This faculty position offers the opportunity to build and expand a neuro-oncology practice within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that includes neurology, neurosurgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, neuropathology, and clinical research programs. The department is actively growing and identifies neuro-oncology as a key area of expansion. Job Description: Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors and other neurologic complications of cancer Participate in a multidisciplinary neuro-oncology program alongside specialists in neurosurgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology, and pathology Develop and expand clinical programs, research initiatives, and educational activities in neuro-oncology Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through Saint Louis University School of Medicine Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and academic scholarship Contribute to the continued growth of the Department of Neurology and its neuroscience service lines Minimum Qualifications: MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Completion of a Neuro-Oncology Fellowship or equivalent specialized training Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Missouri About SLUCare Physician Group and SSM Health: SLUCare Physician Group and SSM Health have partnered for decades to provide exceptional medical services to patients at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, and, most recently SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.
