About this role:As a General Surgeon at Cedar City Hospital , you'll help establish a new employed general surgery practice alongside another experienced surgeon. In this role, you'll practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, maintaining a balanced mix of clinic and operating room time while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of general surgery conditions. This role includes coordinating pre- and post-operative care and utilizing a full spectrum of surgical approaches, including minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as traditional methods.
- Typical schedule includes two clinic days and two OR days per week
- Shared call coverage with expectations dependent on team size
- Opportunity to discuss additional clinical interests, with emphasis on maintaining balanced case volumes

What you'll bring:- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
- ACGME-accredited residency training in General Surgery
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
