Job Summary
Infinite Medical P.C is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Medical Doctor Licensed in Gastroenterology to oversee and direct Nurse Practitioners who provide direct bedside care to nurses in geriatric facilities, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Oversight of Nurse Practitioner
- Monthly meetings/Check-ins with the assigned Nurse Practitioners
- Staff Supervision of assigned Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants
- Consult with the provider either onsite or via electronic communication (phone, email, etc)
- Review provider notes and submit summaries for potential regulatory review
Requirements
- Medical Degree- MD/DO
- Board Certification
- Current Licensure in Gastroenterology in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical Experience
- Leadership Skills
- Communication Skills
- Commitment to Quality Improvement
- Experience in a long-term care setting
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
