Job Description:

About this role:

As a Physician in Critical Care medicineyou will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will be an integral member of a collaborative, multi ‑ disciplinary team caring for complex, critically ill patients.

In this role you can anticipate:
  • Practicing at St. Mary's Regional Hospital located in Grand Junction, CO
  • Providing care in a 32-bed mixed medical/surgical ICU with a schedule of 24 weeks per year , working 7-day blocks of 12-hour shifts (.8 FTE)
  • Working alongside two physicians during the day , and serving as the sole ICU provider overnight.

Performing advanced pulmonary procedures, including advanced bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS). Qualified candidates will have the training and experience necessary to perform these procedures independently.

How we'll support you:
  • Competitive Compensation: $465,000.00 annually, plus wRVU production incentives
  • wRVU Compensation Model: wRVU Threshold: 4,990 wRVUs per year; $62.00 per wRVU above threshold
  • Quality Incentive: Up to $50,000 annually
  • Excess/PRN Shift Rate: $2,818 per 12‑hour shift
  • Incentives: $30,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 relocation assistance (if applicable), $75,000 Student Loan Assistance (if applicable)

  • MD or DO degreefrom a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • ACGME accredited residency trainingin Internal Medicine
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • Active, unobstructedColorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
