The Opportunity Regional VP, Cardiology, Northwell Cardiovascular Institute Play a crucial role in shaping the future of cardiovascular care across the region, including the Hudson Valley and Western Connecticut, with strong collaboration with the Northwell Cardiovascular Institute. Driving standardization of best practices, clinical protocols, and quality metrics. Identifying and implementing innovative care delivery models and technologies. Facilitating collaboration and integration across the region and system. Participating in system-wide strategic planning for the Cardiovascular Institute, contributing to its overall mission and growth. Serving as a key liaison between site-based cardiology and the broader Northwell Cardiovascular Institute. Chief of Cardiology (Danbury Hospital & New Milford Hospital) Provide comprehensive clinical, operational, and strategic oversight for the Division of Cardiology at both Danbury and New Milford Hospitals. Oversee clinical cardiology services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, quality, and safety. Recruitment, mentorship, and professional development of a high-performing team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and other team members. Strategic planning for program growth, technology adoption, and service expansion. Fostering a collaborative and collegial environment within the department and across other medical specialties. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Supporting the academic mission, including training, research, and innovation. Clinical Role Approximately 50% effort will be towards clinical cardiology, commensurate with the individual’s training and expertise.
