Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Burley, ID

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Intermountain Health is proud to announce the development of a new cardiology practice in the beautiful community of Burley, Idaho.
This region has a long‑standing need for a local cardiologist, creating an exceptional opportunity to build a high‑impact practice from the ground up. With strong community demand and an established referral base, patient volumes are expected to grow rapidly.

You would work 4 days per week in a beautiful, newly renovated multi-specialty clinic
As the program grows, rounding in the morning may be required at Cassia Regional Hospital , a 25-bed critical access hospital
No call or weekends, but may be called on occasion for a hospital consult
You would be supported by a Medical Assistant in the clinic
Case review meetings happen 2 times per month with the northern Utah teams, along with a journal club once a month
Hospital administration is engaging and supportive
How we'll support you:
Compensation: Our generous compensation begins with a 4 day work week salary of $457,100. There is up to $90,000 in continuous improvement bonuses available in year two. Additional incentives are as follows:
CME: up to $4500 annually
Starting Bonus: $30,000 paid out within 45 days after your start date and requires a 2 year commitment
Relocation: up to $20,000 paid out within 45 days after your start date and requires a 2 year commitment

What you'll bring:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Cardiology
Unrestricted ID MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
U.S. ACGME Residency
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
Experience in building and growing a cardiology practice, preferred
