POSITION HIGHLIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Director of Pediatric Anesthesia, you will be the clinical and academic leader for the subspecialty. This multifaceted role is ideal for a leader passionate about clinical excellence and medical education in a vibrant teaching environment.
The successful candidate will have a pivotal role as a faculty leader and mentor within an ACGME-accredited Anesthesia Residency Program. The Director will join a collegial department of 48 attending anesthesiologists in an academic setting, providing oversight of a diverse and growing pediatric caseload (approximately 1,600 cases per year), offering ample teaching opportunities. This includes access to the extensive resources, professional development, and collaborative network of Northwell Health. This balanced role combines high-level clinical practice with advancing academic medicine.
