The Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center provides you with outstanding health care, trains America's future health care providers, and conducts important medical research. Health care services are provided at 6 locations, serving southwestern West Virginia, southeastern Ohio, and eastern Kentucky. Facilities include our Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, and four community-based outpatient clinics in Lenore, W.Va ., South Charleston, W.Va .; Gallipolis, Ohio; and Prestonsburg, Kentucky. We also provide a Community Resource and Referral Center in Huntington, W.Va . The Vascular Surgeon will have clinical skills and experience in the full range of Surgical Vascular care. Major duties include, but are not limited to the following Provide direct patient care in outpatient clinic settings, inpatient units, cath lab, and operative care. Maintain professional competency, courtesy and flexibility and provide the necessary services of this specialty. Perform all aspects of Vascular Surgery within approved credentials and privileges. Participate in program planning, objectives, policies and standards essential to delivery of quality care. Participate in all aspects of the Vascular selection. Manage patient workload within available staffing, which may include support of mid-levels, student, and resident education. Document all clinical encounter consistent within established guidelines. Performance pay: Up 15K annually. Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday; 7:30am - 4:00pm.
