The Department of Urology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Urology Surgeon for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, depending on experience and academic record. Tenure/Non-tenure track eligible. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Chair of Urology, Bradley Schwartz, DO, this is an exciting opportunity to expand and enhance an academic Urology program in Illinois. This position will have privileges at Springfield Memorial Hospital and HSHS St. John's Hospital. Applicants must have completed a residency in Urology and fellowship in Pediatric Urology. Illinois licensure is a requirement of employment. Duties include maintaining a medical practice, teaching students and residents, and engaging in clinical and/or basic science research. The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $250,000 to $275,000, representing the academic base salary only, which is funded through the University.
