Medical Director Duties Work closely with Chair - Department of Urology, Jacksonville, regarding strategy, budgeting, operations and academic affairs. Lead the patient care team, collaborating with clinic leadership to ensure efficient, high-quality operations. Work with the practice manager to develop the budget and improve clinic processes. Foster a positive, professional work environment with strong communication and teamwork. Participate in staff and provider meetings to address concerns and implement improvements. Ensure safe and effective clinic operations for patients, staff, and physicians. Serve as a liaison between the clinic and key leadership to support operations and resolve issues. Optimize billing and reimbursement processes in collaboration with Accounts Receivable. Keep leadership informed on practice updates, challenges, and initiatives. Attend medical director and provider meetings, contributing to committees and task forces as needed. Oversee daily clinical operations, supervising providers and the practice manager to maintain high patient care standards.
