About this role:

As a Medical Oncology Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.   In this role, you will be supported by: 1 Advanced Practice Provider, Radiation Oncologist, Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Nurse Navigator, and Pharmacist. St. James Cancer Program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons.

• Competitive Compensation: $600,000 plus the potential to earn more with a production incentive.
• Incentives: $75,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 relocation bonus (if applicable), potential for a residency stipend (if applicable) and up to $100,000 student loan repayment bonus (if applicable).
• We’re also PSLF eligible!
• You will practice at St. James Hospital
• Schedule: 4-day work week (4/10s), alternating Fridays with the Advanced Practice Provider
• Focus: Will be able to provide care in the cancer center with a primary emphasis on hematological care and a mix of oncology.
• Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies, consultations, disease diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Manage a patient base of adults (primarily over 65), 25-30 patients a day.
• Potential for medical directorship
• Opportunity to partake in clinical trials.                                                             
• EPIC EMR utilization (system-wide).

What you’ll bring. 

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine. 

• Residency trained in Internal Medicine.

• Fellowship trained in oncology

• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.

• Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one.

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process. 

• We do accept J1 and H1B waiver candidates. * We are well versed in this space and have a strong, capable, and effective team in place to help support and guide you through this process. * 

• Passion for medical oncology.
