The Department of Radiology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist to join its academic faculty practice. This position is part of SLUCare Physician Group, the academic medical practice of SSM Health, and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, mission-driven academic environment.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will provide diagnostic radiology services within a busy academic medical center while contributing to the education of residents and medical students. Clinical duties will emphasize diagnostic imaging with a strong multidisciplinary component.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic radiology interpretation with emphasis on body imaging, including chest and cardiac imaging, using cross-sectional modalities such as CT and MRI
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and collaborate closely with trauma surgery, transplant surgery, oncology, and pathology teams
- Share call responsibilities, including nights and weekends, as part of the departmental practice model
- Serve as teaching faculty for medical students and residents
- Participate in academic, scholarly, and research activities consistent with the mission of the School of Medicine
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Fellowship training or substantial experience in a diagnostic subspecialty (body, chest, or cardiac imaging preferred)
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Missouri
