Position Summary
Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is seeking a Neuro Radiologist to join and support our growing practice in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in all facets of Neuroradiology. The practice anticipates being able to offer a minimum of 70–80% Neuro focused cases and 20–30% general diagnostic. In Sarasota, we serve a growing health care system that is a stroke center of excellence. We interpret examinations from 7 MRI scanners in our local system, 1.5T and 3T, and we collaborate with our other RAF divisions around the state to offer candidates an optimal study mix. Procedures are not required, but radiologists will be accommodated if they would like to maintain proficiency. We have a team-based style of practice, and our next Neuroradiologist will be able to collaborate with an experienced team of subspecialists.
The workdays are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. RAF enjoys a low volume of weekend duty, with an average of only 10 days per year of weekend shifts from 8am-4:30pm. There are also built-in communication tools to reach our 24/7 radiology assistant concierges and IT support, minimizing your need to pick up the phone. We also have a growing suite of artificial intelligence support tools to automatically handle repetitive tasks like searching for evidence-based guidelines, and free access to point-of-care decision support solutions. Our newest AI tools offer automatic detection of urgent findings such as intracranial hemorrhage, spine fracture, rib fracture and pulmonary embolism. We have integrated generative AI into our PowerScribe environment to allow automatic impression generation using your own individual reporting style.
Our practice is locally and democratically led, with decisions vested in the hands of the group at large, rather than in a few founders or a small group of shareholders. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. In Sarasota, our physicians staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.

Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
Completed one year of post-residency fellowship training in Neuroradiology
CAQ Required
Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of FL
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $500,000-$1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
