Questions to ask the employer
- Is $550,000 base salary only, or expected total compensation including bonus and productivity?
- Posted pay is ≈6% below the reported national median — what does realistic year-2 or year-3 total compensation look like here?
- How is the productivity component calculated (wRVU rate, threshold, reconciliation cadence), and what did physicians here actually earn from it last year?
- How many weeks of PTO and CME time are included, and is unused time paid out?
