Questions to ask the employer

  • Is $450,000 base salary only, or expected total compensation including bonus and productivity?
  • The posted pay sits below what 37 Radiology physicians report (region median $590,000) — what closes that gap: productivity upside, bonus, equity, or schedule?
  • Is the $1 signing bonus subject to repayment or clawback, and over what commitment period?
  • How many weeks of PTO and CME time are included, and is unused time paid out?
