About the Position: This position is located at Irwin Army Community Hospital, located in Fort Riley, Kansas. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Provide a full scope of diagnostic radiology services for the radiology services. Provide consultation, reporting the radiologic diagnostics examination, delivering interpretation of the study and the diagnoses of x-ray to the clinician. Recommend and direct the care and treatment of the patient. Obtain consultation, provides referral, both within the department and with other medical elements. Provide advice, professional opinions and written technical studies and professional review upon request by the Chief, Department of Radiology in support of the various boards and committees. Submit diagnostic radiology reports. Provide training in the specialty of Diagnostic Radiology to other department physicians and medical students.
