Clinical operations are supported by residents, fellows, and other physicians. About the Facility Location The Bronx is a borough recognized as the birthplace of hip-hop and salsa, and is home to landmarks such as Yankee Stadium, the Bronx Zoo, and the New York Botanical Garden. The borough features a vibrant arts and cultural scene, including a thriving music presence, street art, and the historic Art Deco architecture of the Grand Concourse. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide 100% on-site inpatient interventional radiology coverage during day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on a 7 on 7 off schedule, with weeknight call at a 1:3 ratio from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM and weekend call responsibilities. Procedural responsibilities include minimally invasive, image-guided procedures utilizing fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI, as well as pre- and post-procedure consults and emergency IR procedures as needed. An expected volume of 8-10 procedures per day is anticipated, and clinical documentation is managed through Epic EMR. Board certification is required for this assignment.
