The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is seeking a fellowship-trained Neuroradiologist (CAQ preferred). Approximately 75% of workload will be subspecialty neuroradiology with an ability to participate in general radiography, ultrasound, and abdominopelvic CT also expected. After-hour weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays covered with diagnostic radiologists on-call for backup. Remote radiologists expected to take 2x call to compensate for having no in-house duties. Recruitment/Relocation Incentives (Sign-on Bonus): Authorized Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Familiarity with advanced techniques including CT/MR perfusion, including arterial spin labeling (ASL) and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) preferred. Minority of duties (~25%) will include general radiology coverage of ultrasound and radiography. Experience with head and neck PET imaging also preferred. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
