The Pulmonary and Critical Care department is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and education of patients with lung disease. The department includes board certified pulmonary specialists and licensed respiratory therapists. Lung diseases commonly treated include asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, pleural effusions, lung cancer, chronic cough and cough productive of blood, pulmonary vascular disease including embolism and pulmonary hypertension, and shortness of breath of various causes.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Fellowship training required in Pulmonary Critical Care or Critical Care

IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital is a 379-bed hospital and is designated as alevel 3 trauma center. It is both a teaching hospital and a regional tertiary referral center.
