Henry Ford Health is seeking an experienced psychiatrist with expertise in substance use disorders to serve as Medical Director of Addiction Services. The Medical Director for Addiction Services provides strategic, clinical, operational, and physician leadership for a comprehensive continuum of addiction treatment services across a large integrated behavioral health service line. The role oversees medical quality, program development, physician engagement, and clinical integration across residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), outpatient addiction services, and a hospital-based integrated consultation service.
This physician leader partners closely with behavioral health leadership, and community stakeholders to advance evidence-based addiction care, improve access, reduce stigma, and integrate substance use disorder treatment into the broader healthcare delivery system.
The Medical Director champions a population health approach to addiction treatment while supporting innovation, workforce development, quality outcomes, and equitable access to care across the continuum.
