DMG is actively recruiting for an outpatient Attending Psychiatrist for our adult F-ACT team located in a new outpatient clinic space on the campus of Valleywise Behavioral & Mental Health Center - an inpatient psychiatric hospital with an emergency department, in Maryvale, AZ. ACT provides a full range of services to people with a serious mental illness (SMI) insurance benefit. ACT teams offer complete, community-based treatment to people in the most difficult situations. About the Role This is a full-time position on a multidisciplinary, recovery-oriented care team serving up to 100 patients , allowing for small caseloads and highly personalized treatment. The team is composed of: Psychiatrist Clinical Coordinator Two Nurses Medical Assistant Case Management Specialists Peer Support Specialist Education & Employment Specialist Substance Use Specialist Housing Specialist Two Administrative Team Members The collaborative structure and limited caseloads support individualized, patient-centered, and recovery-based services. Academic & Teaching Opportunities This role includes a faculty appointment (for eligible candidates) with both the Creighton University School of Medicine - Phoenix and the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix . Teaching is a strong and integral component of this position and includes Supervision and education of PGY-3 and PGY-4 Adult Psychiatry Residents Teaching and mentorship of medical students Active involvement in an academic clinical environment This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in combining clinical practice with medical education and academic engagement.
