We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join our inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield MA. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

• Provide clinical leadership for the 22-bed Behavioral Health - Adult Psychiatric Treatment Unit at Baystate Franklin Medical Center (BFMC), working alongside two Advanced Practice Providers and an established healthcare team.
• The Medical Director will be an active clinician who is also responsible for the oversight and supervision of inpatient behavioral health staff and consultation services in collaboration with the Chair of Psychiatry at Baystate Health.
• Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM). Option to participate in voluntary on-call coverage for additional compensation available.
• Faculty appointment to University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School- Baystate. Establish academic presence at our community hospital by developing curriculum to support rotations for medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunity to potentially create innovative new combined Family Medicine/Psychiatry residency based at BFMC.

• Qualifications: Qualified candidates will be ABMS Board Certified Psychiatrist and have relevant inpatient and leadership experience. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning is essential.
• Compensation: The compensation range listed below represents the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are based on assumed full-time commitment for exempt employees. Minimum= $300K. Maximum= $340K
