The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Psychiatrist position is within the Mental Health Service Line at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, TN. The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Psychiatrist performs psychiatric assessment and treatment of co-morbid substance use disorders and general mental health conditions within a multi-disciplinary team. The psychiatrist is responsible for the ambulatory treatment of medically managed withdrawal from alcohol, benzodiazepines, and/or opioids.
