Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist you will join our dynamic Archway Mental Health Services team. This is a clinical practice position providing care for CHI St. Alexius Health within a collaborative environment. Here you will join our behavioral health team including psychiatrists, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, psychologists, licensed social workers, and patient care navigators. We are a teriatry center for behavioral healthcare for central and western ND. In this role, you'd enjoy a consistent Monday - Friday schedule with shared call coverage. The flexibility to pursue a hybrid practice balancing inpatient and outpatient care, if desired. Your primary focus would be delivering essential treatment, intervention, and prevention services to children and youth from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, addressing behavioral and substance abuse issues. Beyond direct patient care, you'd contribute to the academic environment through minor activities having a commitment to bedside teaching for our thriving resident and fellowship programs. - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry - General Adult Psychiatry
- Active or Eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in North Dakota
- DEA in good standing with no restrictions
- A record of excellence in clinical care and education
