Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for adult inpatients. Conduct inpatient rounds, admissions, treatment-team meetings, and discharge summaries. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and care coordination. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing, social work, case management, therapy, psychology, and advanced practice providers. Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation in Epic. Support behavioral health program development and service enhancement. Demonstrate leadership potential through mentorship and participation in departmental initiatives. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited institution Completion of an accredited General Adult Psychiatry Residency Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia Demonstrated interest in leadership or program development highly desirable Experience with Epic or a similar EMR preferred Interest in community-based psychiatry is a plus HOW TO APPLY?
