 CenterWell Senior Primary Care is now hiring for a Primary Care Physician to join our team full-time at our Fairwold Clinic in Columbia, South Carolina. This role is ideal for a compassionate, experienced clinician who excels in a collaborative, patient-centered environment and is committed to improving outcomes for adult and geriatric populations.

The Physician focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. You will keep a medical history and medical records. You will refer the patient to specialists.

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to adult and senior patients.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Diagnose and manage moderately to complex medical conditions.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
  • Exercise independent clinical judgment in patient management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5 or more years of technical experience

Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction

Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university

Prefer Internal Medicine specialty

Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine

A Tuberculosis screening is required for all patient facing roles

Must be willing to participate in limited on-call coverage by phone

Work Environment

  • You will work on-site in an outpatient clinical setting reporting to the South Carolina Associate Medical Director
  • Clinic Location: Fairwold Columbia, SC
  • Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
