The Department of Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center, is seeking an accomplished, collaborative Plastic Surgeon to serve as Division Chief of Plastic Surgery. This Board-Certified surgeon will join a growing faculty and a collaborative working environment. This is a physician leadership opportunity for a surgeon who wants meaningful clinical practice combined with responsibility for program direction, team development, quality, and growth. The Division has a main clinical base at Loyola University Medical Center, with Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and the Hines VA Hospital also attended by the group. Highlights of the Position Provide clinical, strategic, and operational leadership for Plastic Surgery division Guide division that spans cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, breast reconstruction, skin cancer reconstruction, facial reconstruction, body contouring, burn surgery, and complex wound care. Collaborate with Breast Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Dermatology, Trauma, Wound Care, and hospital leadership to strengthen coordinated patient care. Partner with leadership on physician recruitment, access, quality improvement, operational standardization, and program expansion. Candidate Requirements MD or DO with Board Certification in Plastic Surgery. Prior leadership, division development, or physician management experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and to balance clinical excellence with operational stewardship.
