The VAMC in Lexington, Kentucky is recruiting for an Cardiologist EP to serve as a full-time medical service physician. The position is accountable to the Chief of Cardiology, for assuring the most effective delivery of state-of-the-art care by meeting or exceeding compliance standards. Duties may include but are not limited to: Provide direct patient care at Lexington VA Medical Center Invasive electrophysiology procedures including cardiac device implantation, catheter ablation of supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias, and left atrial appendage occlusion Participate in supervision of the APRN electrophysiology providers Participate in management and supervision of the implanted cardiac rhythm device program and clinic, including CIED remote monitoring Participate in Process Improvement/Quality Assurance and other administrative duties as assigned Interpretation of ECGs and Ambulatory Monitors Other duties as assigned by the Chief, Cardiology Section VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
