Contact: Overview Pediatrix Hospitalist Opportunity Winchester, VA ResponsibilitiesPediatrix Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join our collaborative and mission-driven team at Winchester Medical Center. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, family-centered care in a well-supported community hospital setting, while also engaging in teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Position Highlights- Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery supporting approximately 2400 annual deliveries
- Pediatric Floor ADC: 5
- Newborn Nursery ADC: 15
- Daytime support from Advanced Practice Providers
- Block scheduling for optimal work-life balance
- Daytime rounding and out-of-house call (30-minute response time)
- Collaborate with a network of pediatric subspecialists available both onsite and via telehealth through:
- University of Virginia
- INOVA
- Children's National
- Opportunity to teach and mentor Family Medicine Residents
- Work alongside a team where Pediatrix also providers NICU services at Winchester Medical Center for continuity of care
