Summary The Division of Critical Care in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine has an opening for a full-time faculty position at CHRISTUS Children's in San Antonio. Responsibilities include the provision of care to critically ill and injured children in a pediatric intensive care unit and teaching fellows, residents, medical students, and staff. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Education: M.D./D.O. degree, or equivalent successful completion of an accredited subspecialty certification in pediatric critical care medicine. Minimum Certification/Licenses: Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (or eligible for same); Board certification by the by the American Board of Pediatrics (or eligible for same). Current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS). Work Authorization Requirement This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
