Opportunity Board Certified/Board Eligible - Physician - Hospitalist - Pediatric Job Details Provide pediatric inpatient ward coverage in a 30-bed unit with an average daily census of 16-18 patients Perform newborn nursery examinations Conduct Emergency Department pediatric consultations Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric care team, including subspecialists and intensivists Work closely with a 16-bed PICU staffed by dedicated pediatric intensivists Participate in teaching and education of pediatric residents and medical students Engage in an academic environment through affiliation with a local School of Medicine Deliver care in a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California Ensure high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care Full-time, permanent position requiring residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be required Nevada Medical License required or willingness to obtain Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics required DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start Clean malpractice and medical license history highly preferred Weekend coverage likely required as part of hospitalist schedule Not accepting Locums or visa candidates Compensation Employed salary with benefits.
