Our client in Oregon is seeking a skilled Pediatrician for a 32-day locum tenens assignment, beginning Aug 17, 2026. Responsibilities and Duties See 13–15 patients/day on call days; approximately 20 patients/day on non-call days. Manage a mix of well-child checks, acute visits, and behavioral/ADHD management for patients aged newborn through 17 years old. Conduct inpatient and nursery duties for call coverage, including newborn nursery census (1–5 babies/day) and occasional inpatient pediatric admissions (rare, 0–1/day). Attend deliveries only when indicated by OB/FBC staff or high-risk criteria. Handle after-hours parent calls, averaging 0–10 per night. Perform newborn assessments, discharges, and delivery attendance as indicated. Address acute visits such as respiratory, GI, ear infections, and rashes.
