You'll have the opportunity to work with a range of pediatric patients, with an emphasis on ventilation and intubation management. This position offers a flexible schedule with ongoing opportunities starting December 1, 2026. Key Details Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Hospital Start Date: December 1, 2026 Schedule: Days Patient Population: Pediatric Location: Henderson, NC Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Manage patient ventilation, both acute and chronic, for newborns and pediatrics Perform intubations (ETT/NT) and conscious sedation Place central and arterial lines, chest tubes, and interpret X-rays and EKGs Conduct suturing for minor lacerations, circumcisions, and offer sedation Qualifications Board Certification Eligible in Pediatrics Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS Minimum 30 days for credentialing Working Hours Days, starting December 1, 2026 Skills Proficient in non-invasive and invasive ventilation management Capable of performing intubation procedures on newborns and pediatrics Experience with sedation, central and arterial line placement, and minor surgical procedures Consider this unique opportunity to leverage your pediatric expertise in a supportive and dynamic environment.
