Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ and the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey in Newark, NJ are seeking a board-certified/board eligible fellowship-trained physician in pediatric endocrinology to join their Division of Pediatric Endocrinology. The successful candidate will join a dynamic group of 5 pediatric endocrinologists and 2 APNs covering the RWJBarnabas Health (RWJBH) Northern Region and will share call and be a member of the group clinically and academically. There is the opportunity to teach and mentor residents and medical students. There is a multi-disciplinary diabetes team with dieticians, nurses, and social workers in the Division. The successful candidate will split their time between the two institutions. The hospitals are integral members of RWJBH, the largest academic integrated healthcare system in New Jersey. We are partnered with Rutgers NJMS, offering exceptional patient care and leading-edge research, further advancing our mission. We are driven to provide evidence-based care to the communities we serve. We are transforming the care delivery system with a design focused on eliminating health disparities and improving outcomes for patients in our community and beyond. RWJBH currently employs 12 pediatric endocrinologists in the health system that collaborate academically. RWJBarnabas Health offers competitive compensation and a robust benefits package. Children’s Hospital of New Jersey has multiple ACGME accredited residency programs and a strong academic affiliation with Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School (NJMS), serving as a primary site for undergraduate pediatric medical education.
